CCD Programs - Enhancing Diversity Initiatives

Over the past 25 years, CCD has addressed and adjusted to a wide range of significant economic, political and social challenges. As such, we are proud of the programs we are engaged in.

CCD celebrates our community’s diversity by hosting the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. The proceeds from this signature event allow us to support many community events.

Youthvoices

CCD collaborates with the Scottsdale Unified School District and other generous sponsors to present the Voices program to valley schools as one of the Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations.

Scholarships

Each year, CCD offers youth scholarships to college-bound high school students. The sponsors of the Martin Luther King Jr. event provides the funds for the scholarships.

Public Educaion

CCD collaborates in the development of targeted diversity education programs such as Scottsdale Leadership Diversity Day conference for business leaders.

CCD participates in the Youth Town Hall and collaborates with Scottsdale Community College and Health World to conduct diversity programs for the children of the community.
